Recommended to be printed on medium and dark colored fabrics of polyester or cotton/polyester blends.
40-110 monofilament meshes are recommended for maximum coverage. Finer meshes may be used where delicate results are needed.
LB series plastisol inks are recommended to be fused at 325°F. Remember, plastisol fusion is a time-temperature process. Curing above 325°F will increase bleed through. Maintain temperature at 325°F and increase oven time rather than temperature to obtain proper cure. Any excess heat increases bleed through. LB series inks may be flashed from 240-260°F followed by complete curing in a conventional oven.
LB series plastisol inks are formulated for maximum opacity when printing onto black or dark colored fabrics. LB series inks may be mixed with SE014 Process Clear when printing on white or light colors. When mixing base with LB series inks; one lowers opacity, reduces bleed resistance, and softens hand.
LB series plastisol inks are formulated ready to use. Addition of reducers in not recommended. If necessary for viscosity reduction, up to 5% ofSpecial Reducer is suggested. All reducers will change the opacity, bleed resistance, and cure. Always pretest when adding any products to the prepackaged ink.
Mineral spirits, etc.
Refer to current Inktek color card.
